Was thinking about sick notes this afternoon for some reason. I’ll chalk it up to Friday impatience combined with an early start to the day and allergies 
Anyway, I figure if you’re going to write a sick note either for yourself or for your kid the least you can do is take the time to come up with something original and entertaining, no?
If you need a light push in the right direction you may want to have a peek at these sick notes supposedly written by American parents in a Tennessee school district.
I’m pretty sure these were created as a joke, because I remember the one that begins as “Please excuse pedro” from when I was a kid. Anyway, no matter… enjoy!
