While Texas gets its ass handed to it by Hurricane Ike, Vancouver is having a very unusual heat spell. I’m watching the news this morning and hearing that we’ll likely be breaking records on the high side all week so get out of bed, off the couch, whatever and get those kids outside!
It won’t be long before you’re dealing with 7+ days of cloud and rain without a hint of blue sky, so if you don’t take this opportunity to spend time outside playing with the kids you’ll be sorry and they’ll have more energy than they know what to do with.
Take those children outside and let them play with the other kids!
